The love of hair started many years ago and Melissa gathers her inspiration from the street, the arts and travelling.

Melissa feels extremely passionate about the environment. She only chooses products that are eco friendly.
The studio features energy efficient gas hot water and has the latest in energy efficient lighting. All foil, packaging, bottles, and all paper from the salon and office are recycled.
Melissa uses eco towels from the Big Towel Company. These towels are made from certified renewable sources of wood fibre. They are manufactured using eco-friendly materials and processes such as recycled water and solar energy, and contain no pesticide-hungry cotton or eco-disastrous plastic. The towels will decompose naturally in weeks and saves thousands of litres of water and electricity consumption by not washing and drying towels. It is also a hygienic alternative. Clean, fresh and sanitised towels that give you peace of mind while reducing your carbon footprint.
Nothing in the salon is single use and encourage all clients to do the same.
